This proverb reminds me of what the objective should be in every learning situation.  We can always go much further together.  This applies to our online collaboration and our face-to-face communication.

I would consider myself to be a relational teacher.  A relational teacher is a teacher who connects with their students.  This connection lets the student know that they are important and gives them a nurtured feeling which fosters growth and development.  In my classroom, I always make an effort to connect with every student in order to create a sense of community and acceptance.
